Hand in date 5th of March I have now finished the web site, and have finished my work book, butI am going to carry on with this project as is still ongoing. I will be photographing on the 8th of March.
I have put all the photographs in a scrapbook so I have a hardcopy.

I inserted the image on to my contact page in Dreamweaver.

Information for copyright and a thank you to all the Guides and Guide leaders who helped me on this project, I am going to put this on my contact page next to Freda.

Written above is the order the photographs are in on my web gallery. The sketches are sketches I drew to work out how to place the photographs on the page and which photographs would work best together.

I have now been able to add my final photograph. I now need to add to my web gallery.
In Photoshop I changed the size of the image to the same as the others and saved for web and devices. I then saved in the images folder in my web gallery folder. I also saved in Thumbnails and saved in html. In Dreamweaver I added code to photos.xml and photos.js saved and opened my portfolio in Safari where I can see it worked.

Here is my background image which is a piece of paper with the Guiding print on that I scanned in and desaturated and lightened in Photoshop. I then used as my background image in Dreamweaver. I don't think this print is to distracting from my photographs.

Here are more scanned in images from my workbook that I have been doing during the workshops.
here is a scanned in page of when we use Photoshop brushes that we downloaded off the internet. The one beneath if of when we used background images with text on top.
The next image is a logo. The image underneath is the photograph I took of the Guides flag. The image above is a print screen for save for web and devices. It has a transparent background so can be seen over the background image.

Here is a page of fonts that I will use for my overall website for May has names of fonts and then I written in titles of my projects.

This is just an idea of a layout with photographs in frames on home page for each portfolio and a hand written font for logo and to the other pages.

Here are the mood boards I have done mainly of Photoshop brushes, background images and hand written fonts. I like the wallpaper brushes thats why I chose to have a tiled background as would be a smaller file. I like the idea of framing images maybe in the style as photographs on a wall or in a scrapbook and stitches Photoshop brush that I used on my logo.

Image of my Web 2.0 logo, I don't want to use web 2.0 in my final design. Im not that keen on it.

In Adobe illustrator I created basic vector images using shapes. I don't want to use this on my final web design. I prefer to scan in images and using photoshop brushes for other graphics.

Here are my layouts for my website for 'I Promise' portfolio. For my portfolio, contact page and about page.

Here are print screens of my final design. Of my portfolio, contact page, thumbnails for portfolio, and my about page.

I created in dreamweaver. My backdrop if have a bigger screen will not repeat properly had problems with joining as diagonal lines.

I wrote the text on navigation bar in dreamweaver to link to the other web pages.

I have a link to my blog on the g-card. I am going to write a thank you message on the contact page to the Guides.

My about page text is readable as I made certificate bigger so the text could be bigger but now you do have to scroll down.

I need to add one more photograph into my portfolio that I forgot to put on to my usb stick. The web gallery is a slideshow that I did in Photoshop CS3 and opened in dreamweaver to put on my website.

Here are print screens of how I made my web gallery in Photoshop CS3.
I chose the horizontal slideshow.

It then opened on the internet. The photographs are quite small but you can see them. I then opened it in dreamweaver. I would like to delete the information on its style sheet for the text that says Adobe Web Photo Gallery and the other information underneath.

I had difficulty trying to get rid of the text box as was on every page with a photograph I had to find and replace. I had even more difficulty with getting rid of the grey box as the colour block had white small corners that I had problems spotting.

Im not yet sure if I will have their drawings on the same page as the photographs.
I have decided that I am going to have the drawings on the page I think it adds to the scrap book idea and they are the memories of the Guides memories of this November camp where the photograph was taken.

My final chosen photographs for the web portfolio. Placed on a page in Photoshop so it looks more like a scrap book. I grouped the photographs in to different categories like Promises, badge work, camp, and BP etc.

This is my chosen order going from left to right. The text next to the photographs go with the photographs they are not in order of the questionnaire. So I have the Promise text with the promises etc.

Here is the Guiding UK publications guidelines that I used to help me design my website for 'I Promise'. It shows the colours that they use and the fonts they use. This was useful when I was designing my web gallery for 'I Promise' as I want to look like Guides website.

Here is a printscreen of the Girlguiding Uk website. I have tried to create a similar website as goes with the photographs I have taken for 'I Promise'.

The logo on the top is the logo I designed in Photoshop for my portfolio I wanted it to look similar to the Girlguiding UK logo which is on the bottom.

I am going to use my old name tag that I am going to use for the logo for my name on the 'I Promise' website. I found a photoshop brush on the internet that I went around the tag to make it look like it had been sewn on I am now going to use this logo.

I scanned in my old g-card and in photoshop cloned out and changed the information to my contact details.

I also scanned in my BP award certificate and in Photoshop I made the certificate bigger and made the text box bigger to write in the information about the project which I will put on my home page.

In my gallery I would like to have the text next to the photographs. In photoshop I cut and pasted on to a page and moved the text around to fit on the page. I also grouped the photographs and put the same subjects on to the same pages I want my gallery to have the look of a scrap book.

22nd of February  is World Thinking Day on Monday the Guides celebrated Lord Baden Powell and Lady Olave Baden Powell's Birthday by thinking about other guides in the World. On Monday the Guides made bracelets, sculptures, filtered water, writing about peer pressure, and making huts to raise and put £2.50 in for WAGGS.
I wasn't very successful this day with my photographs I didn't get as many good shots.

Here is my contact sheet for the photographs I took on World Thinking Day.
I haven't been influenced by other photographers in this project only my and my families memories and girl guiding resources and memorabilia that I have shown through out my blog.

I would like my portfolio design to look like a scrapbook of photographs that I have taken, with the girls answers to the questionnaire and drawings of their memories. Here are drawings from my memories and my text. I would like it to be in a scrapbook, I was thinking if possible that I would be able to put my photographs and text in a scrapbook and scan in to be put on my website.

Here is my new design for my contact page, I am now going to have a link to my blog on the g-card and the image I drawn of Freda which I will write a thank you message with.
